God is very passionate so the atmosphere in our meetings is usually charged with faith and joy as we respond to His love. We purposely step beyond convenience into sacrifice, thankfulness and liberty. People in the congregation may worship in a variety of ways at any given moment, singing, standing, dancing, shouting, raising hands, silence, quietness, laughter and tears.
We passionately pursue God’s presence, not just for our own enjoyment but that others may also encounter Him and be changed. God wants to heal and deliver His people as well as save them from the power of sin. His Kingdom regularly breaks into this world in demonstrations of power and glory via signs, miracles and personal breakthroughs. God regularly blesses people in this place with healing and freedom.
We at the Stronghold are hungry for God’s glory filling our community and beyond. We’re going to see how much of His Kingdom God will let us experience before He returns. Jesus taught us to pray, “Let Your Kingdom come….. on earth as it is in heaven.”

Parking is available in the school car park. The entrance to the school is on Northwich Road—SatNav Postcode CW8 3BD.
We are currently meeting in home groups. Please speak to one of the leaders on Sunday if you would like to join a group.
Wednesday nights - in the current season, as many that can, are meeting at our own building, the Stronghold, Forster Ave, Weaverham, CW8 3AJ at 7:30pm; to pursue God’s presence and greater realms of His glory and to cry out in prayer for our town and region.
The Stronghold church was birthed through this very pursuit and God regularly brings us back to this core value. Nothing of any eternal value can be achieved by our own effort, it is only by His Spirit working through us that bears fruit that will last forever.
So on Wednesdays, God is training us to flow from worship to prayer and back to worship. (Rev 5:8)

CRECHE: 0 – Nursery Age
A wonderful mix of songs, toys and stories from the Word of God. The leaders are always seeking to bring God and His abounding love to these little ones and set them on a path of seeing and experiencing God in all His wonder.
BEGINNERS: Reception and Year 1
As our precious children grow in awe and wonder of all God can do and how much He loves and treasures us, we want to bring more of God’s glory through stories, drama, puppets, songs and crafts. We want them to start to explore the heart of God for them and their lives.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Year 2 – Year 6
Here we seek to develop and build upon the awe and wonder as we teach more skills in prayer and the Word of God, preparing our children to seek God for themselves, hear Him speak to them and know that He loves them with an everlasting love and has an awesome plan for their lives.
Drink and Snack are provided in each group. Please make sure you have filled in a contact form about any known allergies and that the leaders know where you are in the service in case you are needed for your little one.
