Mike has been in full-time ministry for 29 years. Amongst planting churches, he walks the length and breadth of Europe with a 12ft Wooden cross. He has many stories of supernatural provision and divine protection, with many extraordinary encounters resulting in people finding Christ and healing.
He has a mandate to literally walk, proclaim and wake up the church to its purpose! He has walked in over 35 nations without money or bank cards in his pocket. Mike’s stories are gritty and funny, and he carries an activation for churches to be fruitful in winning souls. Mike currently pastors The Stronghold in Weaverham. He, along with his wife Sarah, are contending for a regional breakthrough and a city-transformational move of God’s Grace.
Rich is an ordinary down to earth type of guy, with a raw passion and heart to see the church on fire, Jesus glorified, and the lost saved. He has been at The Stronghold since day one with his wife Kate and their three children. Kate is a creative writer, a passionate worship leader and has a heart for children of all ages.
Jon and Lisa were trained at Kingdom Faith training college. They spent time ministering in Mitcham, South West London, before following God’s call to come up to Cheshire to serve under the vision God has given Michael and Sarah for Weaverham. They are excited to see a move of God over our land and see people enter into, and live out, their full potential in Christ. They have four children.
Dave & Sarah both joined the Stronghold in 2014. Dave is a self employed plasterer and Sarah is a full time mum to their 3 children. Since meeting with God they have seen His abundant love, healing and provision poured out and are excited to see this for others. They have a heart for the local area and love serving both the church and the community in anyway God leads.
Graham and Becky have 3 children and have been with The Stronghold church since it first opened 10 years ago. During that time they have served in various aspects of the ministry, from worship to leading alpha courses, but in particular they have been involved with the youth ministry before recently taking up the mantle of leading it.
Graham and Becky are believing to see God move in and through the young people to see whole households saved and for God's power and presence to be known in this community.
Naomi Vickers leads our new youth initiative, Unlock Northwich. Naomi is a recent business graduate who has a vision to see youth empowering youth to conquer obstacles in education, through a peer tutoring scheme. Also, to see youth empowering youth to come to come to know God, and the joy of a life lived with him. With support from the Church leadership, Naomi founded Unlock back in November 2021, and after months of planning and praying, Unlock was launched in October 2022.
